Update 2.0: How to Find Clans

Tank Commanders!

In Update 2.0, the new clan feature will finally be available for all players to create and join clans of their own.

Although some of you will undoubtably be creating clans as soon as Update 2.0 hits, many people find it much easier (and more fun) to join a clan than to found and manage one. That's all well and good, but how does one start finding a clan to join?

Well, worry no more - this mini-guide will tell you everything you need to know to do so.

Searching for a Clan

  1. First, access the 'Clan Profile' form in the menu. If you are already in a clan, this form will contain details about the clan and its players, but since you have yet to join one, it remains empty.
  2. Tap the 'Find Clan' button.
  3. The system will display the clan search form containing a textbox for searching a clan, labeled with the following phrase: “Enter clan name or tag.” This phrase will disappear when when you tap on the textbox.
  4. Once you enter the text into the search field and tap the search icon, the system will display a list of clans matching the search criteria, including the following details:
    1. Clan name
    2. Clan insignia
    3. Clan tag in square brackets
    4. Number of players in the “x / y” format, where “x” is the current number of players, and “y” is the limit of players.
  5. As soon as you find a suitable clan to join, simply tap its name to access the Clan Profile, where you will be presented with even more information. This is also accompanied by a button located on the top-right corner to send a request to join the clan, or to accept an invitation to the clan (if the clan has previously sent you an invitation).
  6. Once you are accepted to the clan, you will become a clan member and be assigned the rank of Private by default. Congratulations!

How to Create a Clan

If you decide to create your own Clan instead, keep in mind that you’ll need at least one tier V (or higher) vehicle in your Garage and you’ll have to pay a fee of 1,000,000 (equivalent to 2 500).

Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to customize just about everything about your Clan, including the logo, motto, and description! You’ll also be able to begin sending out invitations to join your Clan, and approve any requests to join.

As founder of your own Clan, you'll automatically be given the rank of Clan Commander. Once players join your Clan, you'll then have the option to promote them from Private to Deputy Commander.
