Balance Improvements in Update 3.2

Tank Commanders,

The new version of the game will mix things up. In version 3.2, 13 vehicles were rebalanced: two Premium tanks were improved, the specifics of some vehicles were emphasized, and a bug with the MT-25 was fixed.

Premium Vehicles

  • The Tetrarch and T2 Light Premium tanks were removed from the Tech Tree. The T14 (2,400 gold) and the SU-122-44 (5,100 gold) were added instead. The tier of these vehicles is higher, and it is more interesting to fight on them. Now you will be able to purchase these vehicles at any time.
  • Firing from the A-32 became more comfortable:
Aiming time changed from 2.3 to 1.9 s.
    - Dispersion ratio upon turret traverse decreased.
  • The firepower of the Т23Е3 increased:
    - Reload time decreased from 4.3 to 4.0 s.
  • The display of the Type 59 technical characteristics was fixed. Now its real parameters are shown in the game client, the same as on the server.

Researched Vehicles

MT-25

A bug in the MT-25 stock module settings from version 3.1 was fixed. The top configuration parameters were not changed.

  •        For the MT-25 suspension, traverse speed decreased from 44 to 37 deg/s.
  •        HP for configuration with a stock turret increased from 520 to 820.

T29

The top gun improved, allowing players to use the turret to achieve an in-game advantage.

  • For the 105 mm Gun T5E1, dispersion ratio upon turret traverse decreased.

Tiger I

The tank’s mobility improved, making this heavy tank more dynamic at the cost of protection.

  • Forward speed increased from 40 to 44 km/h.
  • Traverse speed increased from 25 to 28 deg/s and from 27 to 32 deg/s for the stock and top suspensions, respectively.
  • Dispersion ratio on the move/upon traverse decreased.
  • For the top 8,8 cm Kw.K. 43 L/71 gun, dispersion ratio upon turret traverse was also decreased.

Tiger II

Both turrets were upgraded to improve the tank's close combat dynamics.

  • Turret traverse speed increased from 20 to 22 deg/s and from 16 to 20 deg/s for the stock and top turrets, respectively.

VK 45.02 (P) Ausf. A

The same as for the Tiger, the dynamics and parameters for firing on the move were improved.

  • Turret traverse speed increased from 20 to 22 deg/s and from 18 to 24 deg/s for the stock and top turrets, respectively.
  • Dispersion ratio on the move/upon traverse decreased.

Caernarvon

The Caernarvon has the lowest single-shot damage among Tier VIII heavy tanks. It was impossible to replace its gun, so we increased its damage per minute by improving the rate of fire.

  • For the OQF 20-pdr Gun Type A Barrel, reload time decreased from 6.46 s to 6 s.
  • For the  OQF 20-pdr Gun Type B Barrel , reload time decreased from 6.3 s to 5.3 s.

Rhm.-Borsig Waffenträger

The most popular gun was nerfed in order to shift the emphasis and ensure a fair choice between the two guns.

  • For the 15 cm Pak L/29,5 gun, aiming time increased from 2.7 s to 2.9 s. Dispersion ratio upon turret traverse was also increased.

E 75

Statistics showed that this tank lacked close combat dynamics. The other parameters of the E 75 are well-balanced.

  • Traverse speed increased from 19 to 21 deg/s and from 22 to 24 deg/s for the stock and top suspensions, respectively.
  • Dispersion ratio on the move/upon traverse decreased.
  • For the 12,8 cm Kw.K. 44 L/55 top gun, dispersion ratio upon turret traverse decreased.

Jagdtiger

The Jagdtiger and SU-122-54 show the lowest performance among all Tier IX vehicles. To make these tank destroyers more popular, their firepower was increased.

  • For the 12,8 cm Pak 44/2 L/61 gun:
    - Reload time decreased from 9.06 s to 8.2 s.
    - Aiming time decreased from 2.3 s to 2.1 s.
    - Dispersion ratio upon gun traverse decreased.

SU-122-54

  • For the 122 mm М62-С2 gun:
    - Reload time decreased from 9 to 8 s.
    - Dispersion ratio upon gun traverse decreased.

Grille 15

Though difficult to master, the Grille 15 is an absolute champion in damage among the other Tier X vehicles. The gun of this tank destroyer was nerfed slightly to ensure that it doesn’t stand out too much.

  • Aiming time increased from 1.5 s to 1.7 s.
  • Dispersion at 100 m increased from 0.27 to 0.3 m.

These changes will be introduced with Update 3.2. Stay tuned and don’t miss the new version of World of Tanks Blitz!
