100 Years of Tanks Celebration in London
One hundred years ago the first tank, Mark I saw its first action during the Battle of the Somme on September 15th 1916. This day opened a new era of mechanized warfare.
Wargaming is proud to be celebrating 100 Years of Tanks with a host of online and offline events in remembrance of the Mark I. To mark the occasion, Wargaming has partnered with The Tank Museum, Bovington, for a unique event on Trafalgar Square, London, that took place on September 15th.

With over 300 tanks from 26 nations, The Tank Museum holds national collection of tanks; the finest and most historically significant collection of fighting armour in the world. These range from the world’s first ever tank, Little Willie, through to the British Army’s current Main Battle Tank, Challenger 2.
